The monthly irish music and song gathering takes place this Sunday evening in Nolans Castleiney between 6pm and 8 30pm. Anyone interested in ngetting involved are encouraged to come along.
On Friday 29th June at 8.30pm in Loughmore Parish Centre the launch of the parish defibrillator will take place. All are welcome to this most necessary venture where a lot of hard work had gone into fundraising etc. to get this programme on the road. We expect that our club will be strongly represented on the night.
The Loughmore Community Shop & Tearooms group are holding a Public Information Night in Loughmore Community Centre on this Wednesday 27th at 8.00pm. We welcome all parishioners and any interested parties to what will be a very informative presentation and talk on this innovative and exciting project which will be opening very soon at The Cottage, Loughmore. We will have a number of guest speakers on the night and will also be announcing the winner of our primary school competition “Name a Sandwich”. Looking forward to seeing you all on the night.

Due to the bereavement in the Gleeson family the Cake Sale will not take place this weekend.
It will now be held next weekend 23rd/24th June. Proceeds will go towards the Book Rental Scheme. Donations of confectionery will be welcome. Please come along to support this occasion. Tea and coffee will be served.
Great progress is been made by the work of the tidy village committee over the past number of weeks despite the bad weather. The work continues on this Monday evening at 8.00pm. Please come along and give a helping hand, bring along appropriate garden tools.

The Legion of Mary in conjunction with Monsignor Dooley, Fr. J.J. O’Rourke, former Legionaries & friends celebrated the Legion’s Golden Jubilee on Wednesday 30th May. Mass was concelebrated & afterwards everyone enjoyed the get-together in the hall. The Legion would like to thank very sincerely Fr. O’Rourke for his attendance & also to congratulate him on his own Golden Jubilee. We thank Monsignor Dooley for as always, being so accommodating & helpful. And lastly we extend a big thank you to the many that helped in various ways on the night.
