Game as usual on sunday night @ 8.30pm. All are welcome.

New Plan For Blessed Well Restoration

A preliminary plan for the Blessed Well Restoration Project, drawn up by John Brennan and Phillip Ryan of ABN Midlands, Quantity Surveyors, Thurles, was shown to committee members at a meeting in the Parish Hall this evening, October 24th.

A final plan will now be drawn up following consultation with the Heritage Officer in Nenagh.

Full details of the final plan will be featured on this website and also in the Parish Newsletter. Copies of same will also be displayed locally. 

 

Loughmore- Castleiney Christmas Newsletter

Clubs and organisations are asked to prepare their report for this year’s annual news letter. 

Loughmore Tidy Village

The Committee would like to thank everyone that paid to their collection recently.  The money is used every year to buy petrol, weed killer, insurance, bedding plants, new lawnmower, building materials and paint.  Without this collection the three Graveyards and the Village in general could not be maintained.

Loughmore Church Renovation Committee

will present a cheque for €2,000 to North Tipperary Hospice on this Monday at The Cottage at 4pm.  You are welcome to attend this presentation which is as a result of the success of our Harvest Festival

Remembrance Tree

This year we will have our “Remembrance Tree” once again on which are the names of parishioners who have died since last November.  If you had a bereavement in your family in the past year and would like to place a “Leaf” on the tree, please write the name on both side of leaf and place it on the tree.

All Soul’s Day

Friday is All Soul’s Day. This begins the month in which we remember in a very special way our Faithful Departed. Holy Soul’s envelopes, available in both churches, during November 30 Masses will be offered for all those whose names are on the list of the Dead. 

Mission Collection

Thanks to all who supported this collection. The amount contributed €343.80 our target for this collection is €1003.20 If you have forgotten your envelope your may return it next weekend.
