North Tipperary Community and Voluntary Awards

CAVA North Tipperary Community and Voluntary Awards for 2012 took place on Friday night in Holycross. There were nine awards categories on the night: Environment & Heritage, Arts Culture & Tourism, Social Inclusion, Youth, Sport, Community and Innovation,

Loughmore Community Co-operative Shop & Tearooms won the award for Community & Innovation. And also won the main award of the night CAVA Outstanding Achievement Award.

Loughmore Indoor Christmas Market

The Cottage on next Sunday 2nd December from 11.30am to 3.00pm.  Come and enjoy all locally produced fresh foods and find the ideal Christmas Gift at our Crafts stalls.  All our produce and crafts are made by local people. Your support will be greatly appreciated.

7th  December. All clubs, organisations and schools are asked to co-operate and have their article with   photographs ready for editing. 

CPR and Defibrillator refresher Courses

CPR and Defibrillator refresher will be held on next Saturday the 1st Dec, after Mass in Loughmore Parish Centre .It is important that people use this opportunity, as the trainers are extremely busy. There are only 2 or 3 opportunities in the year to do this and it is important that people take advantage of this.

Fr Mackeys Blessed Well

At a meeting on Thursday night last, Nov. 15th in Castleiney Hall, the Committee learnt that the final plan is almost complete and subject to some conditions, work on the project will commence early in the new year, with an expected completion date of mid Summer 2013. The Committee would like to thank everyone who supported the project so far and takes this opportunity to wish them a Happy Christmas and Prosperous New Year. 

Templeree Graveyard Committee Monster Progressive 25 Drive

Its’ that time of year again and the ever popular Monster Progressive 25 Drive will be held in Templetuohy Hall on Wednesday, December 5th at 8.30 p.m. There is a prize fund of €1200 plus spot prizes on the night. Teas will be Served. Tickets at €10 each are now on sale and available from committee members.

A great night is assured and your support would be greatly appreciated.

Share of proceeds goes towards the Fr. Mackey Blessed Well Project.
